We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for visuals, creativity and an understanding of social media trends.
What You'll DoEdit short-form and long-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Xiao Hong Shu and YouTube.
Trim, cut and assemble raw footage into engaging videos.
Assist in developing video scripts, hooks and captions.
Add text overlays, subtitles, transitions, sound effects and background music.
Perform basic colour correction and audio enhancement.
Adapt videos to suit different social media platforms and formats.
Ensure content aligns with Watchbook's brand image and style.
Organise video files and complete assigned projects within deadlines.
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Good understanding of video pacing, visual aesthetics and storytelling.
Familiarity with social media trends and content styles.
Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently or in a team.
Experience in luxury, lifestyle or retail content will be an advantage.
