Head of FP&A & Strategic Finance – Venture Investments Singapore | Full-Time | Venture Capital & Innovation Group Hudson is working with a leading venture and innovation platform investing in high-growth companies across financial technology, digital ecosystems, and emerging business models. The team is looking for a Strategic Finance professional to lead FP&A, performance management, and financial insights across a dynamic venture portfolio. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the end-to-end FP&A process for portfolio entities, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Develop forward-looking financial models to support scenario planning, strategic initiatives, and capital allocation. Deliver timely insights and variance analysis to guide portfolio and fund-level decision-making. Portfolio Analytics & Value Creation Conduct deep-dive analysis on portfolio performance to identify key value drivers, growth levers, and efficiency opportunities. Partner with investment and portfolio teams to assess returns, track KPIs, and support post‑investment performance management. Provide actionable insights that drive portfolio value creation and exit readiness. Strategic Budgeting & Business Partnering Collaborate with senior leadership and investment committees to shape portfolio financial strategy. Advise on new investments, fund strategies, and follow‑on capital deployment. Support new business initiatives, partnerships, and product launches with financial impact analysis. Venture Growth & Innovation Support Work closely with venture builders, founders, and innovation teams to evaluate new business models and emerging opportunities. Translate complex financial and operational data into insights that inform go‑to‑market and scaling strategies. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred. 12+ years of experience in FP&A, investment finance, or venture portfolio management. Exposure to venture capital, corporate venture arms, or high‑growth technology environments is highly desirable. Strong technical skills in financial modelling and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Excellent stakeholder management skills, maturity and the ability to partner with senior leaders, founders, and investors. Analytical, commercially astute, and adaptable to fast‑paced, evolving business environments.
