Digital Data Networks Private Brand Labeling (PBL) is a virtual plant to support the Business Unit Digital Data Networks (DDN) growing business. Align with DDN business strategy, DDN PBL’s strategy is to grow and develop the business globally. PBL team manages suppliers globally to achieve goals in revenue, gross margin, quality, delivery, service, capability and capacity. PBL aligns strategy and execution with cross functional partners such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sales and functional owners.

The primary objectives of the role are to drive the business and gross margin growth as the P&L owner. Set up a global supplier pool to support the business growth and implement a long-term strategy focused on quality, NPI, delivery, business and margin growth, market share reinforcement, VAVE and Lean production as part of the PBL Success Path.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and drives strategy for PBL at the global level.
• Long-term business planning.
• P&L owner for PBL virtual plant; drive business and margin growth.
• Ensure strategies and suppliers focus on business and margin growth, NPI, cost, delivery, quality, and market share reinforcement in the PBL strategy.
• Understand market trends and TE product roadmap; prepare supplier pipeline to support the business.
• Support DDN strategy by developing and growing suppliers globally.
• Lead a global team with inclusive and diverse leadership.
• Lead NPI introductions with BL products.
• Provide intelligent collections and information to TE Market and PM teams for new products and technology.
• Proactively promote new products from suppliers/markets to PM to enrich TE product portfolio.
• Manage capex and investments for PBL projects.
• Supplier management from introduction to balanced scorecard and supplier exit.
• Product management from NPI to mass production to EOL.
• Continuously improve infrastructure, procedures, and processes.
• Drive VAVE with Engineering team.
• Enhance supplier capacity and capability management through SOPs to ensure readiness for customers.
• Supplier quality management with YoY quality improvements target (20%).
• Drive PBL continuous improvement certification and target Star level 5 in 3 years.
• Apply continuous improvement tools with key suppliers to improve processes and efficiency, sharing wins with TE.
• Collaborate with Subvertical Procurement teams on initiatives to achieve positive results.
• Regular scorecard reviews with strategic suppliers.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• BA/BS in Engineering, mechanical or other relevant discipline.
• 20+ years of experience; last 10 years in senior management.
• Strong people and organizational leadership skills.
• Fluent English with strong conversational ability.
• Demonstrated experience with PBL supplier base, strategic sourcing processes and negotiations.
• Direct operations hands-on experience and leadership in manufacturing; Plant GM experience is a must.
• Product management or sales experience is an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task projects and prioritize in a complex, demanding environment with minimal supervision.
• Capable of independently leading multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong data mining and analysis skills.
• Experience with SAP MM and Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
