Overview Our client is a well-known leader in the Asset Management space. They are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to be based in Singapore. The Role Responsibilities Act as Singapore’s MLRO to ensure robust policies and controls are in place across the company’s regulated businesses, and that they remain in line with regulatory change. Participate in implementing the company’s compliance strategy. Ensure the company’s business complies with established policies, procedures and regulations. Conduct regular compliance reviews to identify potential inefficiency and non-compliance situations. Draft, review and negotiate with external counterparts on a variety of commercial agreements, including third party agreements, operations agreements, services agreements, partnerships, transaction-related agreements, and marketing agreements. To Qualify Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5–7 years of relevant experience with an asset management firm, securities regulator, broker, law firm, or compliance consultant. Experience working with any regulated financial services business in legal or compliance roles preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure.
