Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing technology team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the team. Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Contribute to software architecture discussions and help define the overall technical direction. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript . Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, .NET, or Django). Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience 2–5 years of hands-on experience in software development or related roles. Experience working in agile development environments preferred. Exposure to cross-functional and international project collaboration will be an advantage. Working Hours Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Singapore Time). Flexible hours may be considered for remote or international candidates during relocation.
