Infrastructure Engineer (On-Premise & AWS Cloud) We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with hands‑on experience in designing, deploying, and managing hybrid environments — spanning on‑premise data centers and AWS Cloud. The role involves end‑to‑end infrastructure design, setup, network configuration, and collaboration with cross‑functional technical teams to ensure reliable and secure system integration. Key Responsibilities – Infrastructure (On-Premise and AWS Cloud) Assess, design, and deploy on‑premise server infrastructure across multiple client sites and data centers. Conduct site surveys for Public Transport Operator (PTO) data centers, client offices, and Tier 2 systems, in coordination with stakeholders and vendors. Develop Detailed Site Deployment Design documents specifying installation plans, hardware configurations, and network/electrical requirements. Coordinate with hardware vendors and project managers to schedule and oversee delivery and installation of physical appliances, servers, and workstations. Collaborate with Technical Architecture and Security teams to integrate systems with the Observability Platform (Dynatrace SaaS) , including SNMP Trap configurations. Configure and manage software installation, access control, patching, and compliance to ensure infrastructure security. Plan and execute the transition of infrastructure services from previous suppliers to ensure operational continuity. Support infrastructure operations , including firewall configuration, certificate management, and security patching. Network Configuration Design and implement AWS Network Traffic Routing between all VPCs in collaboration with the client’s network team. Develop detailed on‑premise network routing designs linking AWS VPCs with client and operator data centers. Design and implement the External Link Landing Zone (LLZ) infrastructure, integrating AWS Direct Connect and Customer Edge NVAs. Integrate all critical network components into the Observability Platform (Dynatrace SaaS) for proactive monitoring. Execute and validate North‑South and East‑West traffic routing across AWS and on‑premise environments. Conduct comprehensive route testing and verification between defined source and destination systems. Collaborate with client and vendor network teams during setup and testing of MPLS and Direct Connect links. Configure and test connectivity with External Interfaces and Public Transport Operators , ensuring seamless communication between cloud and on‑premise systems. Requirements Strong experience in hybrid infrastructure environments (AWS & on‑premise) . Proficient in network routing, AWS VPC design, and data center setup . Knowledge of Dynatrace , SNMP , and observability frameworks is a plus. Proven ability to collaborate across teams (network, architecture, security, and vendors).
