Overview
Job Title: Data Engineer (1 year contract) (ID1623)
Location: Buona Vista
Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 9am-6pm
Basic Salary: $6000 - $7000
Responsibilities- Design and implement data architecture, pipelines and ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain data platform, dashboards to support analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across all data platforms.
- Develop and implement IAC and CICD to streamline and automate the deployment process.
- Collaborate with Business units, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
- Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform/warehouse.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proven experience in building data platforms in Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with IAC and Cloud services such as terraform, BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka and Pub/Sub will be a huge advantage.
- Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
