We will leverage technologies like containers, microservices, DevOps, and cloud computing to improve agility and support business transformation. This journey involves changes across technology, talent, and processes. The Infocomm Division (INFOD) drives the modernisation of our ICT systems. As we prepare for this, ample opportunities and growth areas arise. We are seeking individuals with expertise as Microservice & DevOps Developers on a 2-3 year contract basis.
What you will be working on:
- Perform programme/component design, coding, configuration, testing, and related tasks during software development.
- Ensure software quality, security, and application code performance are met.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues during development and testing.
- Develop test scripts and automation as part of DevOps.
- Support business users with technical queries.
- Develop and update relevant documentation.
What we are looking for:
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Applicants with no experience may apply.
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
- Preferred experience includes:
• Development, implementation, and support of microservices and Web API in .NET environment.
• Building rich Internet applications with Entity Framework, Web Services/Web API, and ASP.Net MVC.
• Programming in C#, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
• Test Driven Development, Agile processes, and mocking frameworks.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, CQRS, NoSQL, Event-Based Architecture, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, microservices, cloud architecture, and containerization.
