JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Prospect assigned territory, clients, and leads.
  2. Assist in regionalizing sales efforts by increasing local client visits.
  3. Build new strategic relationships by developing sales plans and business strategies.
  4. Identify and develop new targets to grow regional and global business volume in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions.
  5. Follow up with current customers to increase revenue and freight volume.
  6. Increase market penetration for the PSA BDP brand.
  7. Collaborate with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within the assigned region.
  8. Meet and exceed KPIs related to client visits and customer retention, using the Customer Retention Management system.
  9. Engage in market research with sales support teams to increase the sales pipeline.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in global sales (preferred).
  2. Minimum 3 years of industry experience (preferred).
  3. At least 1 year of experience selling freight forwarding in the chemical vertical.
  4. Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, or Overland Freight within a Freight Forwarding or Logistics company.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
