Responsibilities: Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness with supporting. Ensure respective business unit in-charge has code invoices with appropriate account codes and proper approval before processing. Prepare and process payments through various methods, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to avoid late fees or disruptions in services. Perform GL account reconciliations related to accounts payable transactions. Prepare and maintain AP related schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness for reporting. Assist in the month-end close process by providing necessary reports and reconciliations. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Knowledge of GST regulations and requirements for proper preparation of GST returns. Ensure compliance with local GST laws and regulations to minimize risks and penalties. Maintain vendor accounts, incl. accurate record-keeping of contact information, banking details, payment terms. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or payment inquiries, incl. AP reconciliation. Identify opportunities for process improvements in the accounts payable function. Implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce errors. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Prior experience in accounts payable or similar role in the hotel industry is preferred. Proficiency in SUN accounting software and MS Excel. Strong understanding of GST regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
