We offer numerous technical and leadership challenges to help you grow professionally.About You We're looking for someone who loves to learn and share knowledge - someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around them and who constantly seeks better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experienceYour passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects with the team.If you enjoy working for an organization that values partnership, tenacity, enjoyment and cares for its people and clients, then look no further than Beca.Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible to:• Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex electrical projects / multiple jobs• Work on electrical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets• Lead and manage M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes• Identify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies• Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing• Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting• Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding• Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills• Mentor and coach junior peers across the M&E disciplineKey Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage) At least 7 years of experience from an engineering consulting environment is preferred Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage Experience leading roles for design & design management of healthcare, commercial and/or institutional projects Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives A team, client and delivery focused working style What we offer • Career growth and development• Medical & Telecommunication Allowance• Annual Wage Supplement & Variable Bonus• Volunteer & Wellbeing Leave• A supportive and caring work environment• Opportunities to learn from our industry experts technical gurusAbout Beca Beca is one of Asia Pacific's largest independent advisory, design and engineering consultancies.
