What will you do? In this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’. Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup. Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects. Preparation of specifications, proposals, and other tender documentation. Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level. Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects. Liaison with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers. You will also need the following: The candidate shall possess: Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree). Minimum 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment. Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore. Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous. Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices. Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
