What the role is:

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Biomedical Engineering in the School of Engineering.


What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing tasks related to Biomedical Engineering modules.

  • Identifying new opportunities and collaborations with industry.

  • Managing administrative tasks related to course management.

  • Engaging in industry or consultancy projects to stay current in your profession.

  • Supporting student development in education.


What we are looking for:

  • Relevant qualifications in Biomedical Engineering, with at least 5 years of industry experience in medical technology, biomedical manufacturing, or related fields.

  • Passion for education and strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented.
