Business Function DBS Group Audit serves the Board and Executive Management by ensuring the effectiveness and adequacy of the Group’s risk and control processes. Our team comprises highly sought‑after professionals who act as trusted advisors to our clients on all matters related to internal controls. As an independent, objective assurance and consulting function, we are designed to add value and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role involves extensive collaboration across the DBS network, particularly with Group Finance (GF) and the Risk Management Group (RMG), as well as close partnership with other functional and location audit teams. Responsibilities Lead and execute complex end‑to‑end audits focusing on risk management domains, including liquidity, market risk management and asset‑liability management. Critically assess the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls, and develop tailored testing strategies across the region. Prepare and present clear, concise, and impactful audit findings and reports, ensuring timely escalation of issues and providing actionable recommendations. Conduct continuous monitoring of audited units to stay abreast of business developments, anticipate emerging risks and identify potential areas of concern. Assist the Team Manager in preparing comprehensive quarterly updates for the Audit Committee. Contribute to evolving our data‑driven operating model, focusing on dynamic risk assessment, advanced audit planning and innovative testing methodologies. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across audit teams and with key business stakeholders. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in market risk, liquidity risk or ALM related areas, ideally within a banking institution. Deep domain knowledge of market and liquidity risk concepts, risk metrics, products and regulations (Basel III FRTB, LCR, NSFR, ALM, Treasury functions). Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or CIA are highly valued. Familiarity with data‑analytics tools (Python, R, Tableau) is a definite plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to organize complex information and present recommendations clearly. Self‑motivated, proactive and analytical, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
