We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our Regional Marketing Events (PBTPC) team. The Head of Events, Regional PBTPC Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of events and related marketing activities. This role demands a visionary leader who can create impactful events that align with the bank’s key objectives and goals, to increase loyalty, acquisitions and participation, and drive brand awareness through effective marketing. This role is crucial as the candidate is responsible for ensuring the end-to-end delivery of the bank’s events activity, including internal and external client events for our different audiences and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will manage a dynamic team to develop integrated marketing campaigns, develop lasting partnerships and ensure the seamless execution of events that engage and inspire our clients across our key markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and London. Key Responsibilities Work with the Regional Head, Wealth Marketing to identify, develop and deliver the overarching strategy for our bank’s events. Contribute to the development and implementation of bank-wide strategic plans. Lead, manage and motivate the Events Marketing team to ensure the effective running of client events and press conferences across the respective markets in the regions. Conceptualise, plan, and deliver high-impact events, including loyalty and appreciation events, product related events, funds houses events, and acquisition events, producing detailed proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, budgets and staffing. Oversee all components of event management, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, sponsorship and post-event evaluation. Develop comprehensive event plans aligned with the bank’s marketing and business objectives, including goals, target audience, budget, and success metrics. Collaborate with the team lead and other product teams to align event themes with overall business direction. Conduct research on competitor activities and industry trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the bank’s event marketing strategy. Organise end-to-end event execution including site selection, venue booking, contract management, vendor management, permits, logistics coordination, branding set-up, and staffing. Manage on-site event operations to ensure seamless execution, including registration, audio-visuals, signage, and client experience. Handle contingency planning to address unforeseen issues such as weather, vendor delays, or last-minute cancellations. Act as the central liaison between the Marketing team and internal departments to ensure smooth planning and execution of events. Manage the internal approval process for event concepts, budgets, and promotional materials by preparing detailed briefs and obtaining timely sign-offs from relevant stakeholders. Proactively communicate timelines, responsibilities, and progress updates to all internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment at every stage of the event lifecycle. Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all events and associated content adhere to regulatory requirements and brand guidelines. Facilitate internal post-event debriefs to share outcomes, gather feedback, and implement learnings for future initiatives. Design event experiences that strengthen relationships with existing customers and attract potential new clients. Collect and analyse attendee data and feedback to inform lead nurturing campaigns and post-event follow-up. Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from stakeholders and attendees to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Analyse performance metrics such as attendance rates, leads generated, customer conversions and other on-ground insights/feedback. Prepare detailed post-event reports and presentations for senior management review. Maintain and manage an annual marketing events calendar that supports all local and overseas events. Ensure each event is delivered on time and in accordance with critical deadlines, approvals, and coordination timelines. Budget and resource management. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. More than 15 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or related roles (preferably in the banking or financial services sector). Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours and travel regionally for events when required. Key Competencies Strong visionary leader.
