Overview

Senior/ Lead Civil & Structural Engineer (Pharmaceutical/ Steel Structural) – Manpower Singapore

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for reviewing design drawings and design reports from design firms, commenting and approving for issuing drawings for construction at the design stage.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and preventing delays of contractor works at the construction stage.
  • Carry out daily monitoring, deviation resolution and prevention of delay; ensure the contractor works comply with requirements.
  • Lead the whole site civil and steel structural construction works, acting as the site subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in civil and steel structure engineering and construction.
  • Ensure on-site quality improvement and adherence to EHS requirements.
  • During the project phase, actively involved and may perform multiple roles to support the overall success of the greenfield project startup.
  • Manage, nurture and guide subordinate employees, and conduct effective assessments; build a high-efficiency team with initiative and creativity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in civil and steel structural related majors, with more than 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in operating Office software, with the ability to review construction technical plans and engage in equipment technical negotiation.
