Mechanical Manager (Data Center) — Achieve Group Role: Mechanical Manager (Data Center) for Achieve Group. Our client is an engineering and construction company that designs and delivers mega and significant projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Manager for their expanding business. Responsibilities Carry out engineering duties related to the design of electrical systems for data centre projects. When required, prepare calculations and technical documents to support electrical system design. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated and integrated project deliverables. Provide expert technical input for studies and relevant documentation. Support on-site project execution and serve as the electrical subject matter expert. Contribute to the development of design standards and procedures to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes. Assist in producing design documents at various stages—conceptual, preliminary, and final—including calculations for equipment sizing and selection, power distribution diagrams, and layout plans. Ensure all electrical drawings and documentation meet technical standards and are delivered on schedule. Highlight technical concerns and raise change notifications when necessary. Organize regular meetings for the electrical team, draft action plans, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution. Prepare scope of work documents and technical packages to support project needs. Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Strong background in electrical design and construction. Extensive knowledge of local design codes and construction practices.
