Senior QA Lead – Real Estate Technology

Senior QA Tester / QA Lead We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Tester / QA Lead to drive quality across our real estate technology platforms, including property listing applications, backend systems, and APIs. This role ensures functional accuracy, performance reliability, and compliance with industry security standards, aligned with our QA Charter and regulatory guidelines. You will design and execute comprehensive quality strategies for real estate solutions—covering load and performance testing, negative scenario validation, security and compliance checks, and backend API assurance. As QA Lead, you will define QA processes, embed quality checkpoints into project stage gates, mentor the QA team, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and security specialists to ensure every release meets user expectations and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities QA Charter Implementation: Lead the adoption of QA standards across real estate platforms (property listing portals, CRM systems, APIs), including security testing aligned with industry regulations. Test Strategy & Planning: Develop test strategies for functional, regression, integration, backend API, load/performance, negative scenarios, and compliance testing. Backend API & Microservices Testing: Validate API functionality for property data, booking systems, and payment gateways; ensure security controls like authentication, encryption, and rate limiting. Load & Performance Testing: Ensure platforms handle peak traffic during property launches and campaigns; identify and resolve bottlenecks. Security Testing: Collaborate with security teams to test against OWASP and regulatory standards; track and remediate vulnerabilities. Automation Leadership: Build and maintain automation frameworks; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for real estate applications. Documentation & Traceability: Map test cases to business requirements and compliance controls, ensuring full traceability. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product, Development, Security, and PMO teams to embed QA checks into stage gates before go-live. Team Leadership: Mentor QA team members and enforce consistent quality practices. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of software testing experience, with 2+ years in a lead QA role. Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and backend APIs. Proficiency with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured). Skilled in performance/load testing (JMeter, NeoLoad) and interpreting metrics. Knowledge of security testing methodologies (OWASP, industry compliance). Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and test management tools (TestRail, Jira Xray). Strong analytical and communication skills for defect diagnosis and reporting. Experience with backend and database testing for property data integrity and integration flows. Exposure to AI-powered QA tools or AI model validation is a plus.
