Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible in ensuring effective management, verification and controls of field returns and machining parts failures, driving supplier part qualification approval (SPQA) qualifying and administration of supplier part change notification (PCN).
Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain long-term win-win relationships with critical suppliers to ensure understanding and fulfilment of Waters' quality requirements
  • To collaborate with other relevant departments in root cause analysis (RCA) and investigation of field returns and machining parts failures
  • To administer supplier change management and governance program
  • To coordinate supplier part qualification approval (SPQA) program
  • Support SQE and QE in ensuring an effective execution of CMO and supplier audits program
  • Participate in internal quality audit activities
Job Requirements
  • Engineering degree preferably in mechanical, electro-mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a QC / QA role in a manufacturing environment
  • Competent in operating measuring equipment (ie CMM) independently
  • Competent in interpreting technical drawings, schematics and specifications
  • Working knowledge in ISO 9001
