We’re looking for a Country Manager to join our team to oversee and drive our overall businessgrowth in Canada with a strong focus on strategy, marketing, e-commerce, and B2B. Yoto’s North AmericaTeam

The North America team is a dynamic, cross-functional group bringing together diverse
expertise across multiple departments including Marketing, Commercial, Content,
Operations, and Customer Happiness teams. Working collaboratively, we leverage our
collective skills to deliver exceptional products and experiences to drive growth in our largestmarket. We are an agile group catering to the unique needs of the North American market,while maintaining strong connections with our global counterparts.

What you’ll be doing :

Your leadership will be instrumental in accelerating Yoto’s next phase of growth in Canada. AsCountry Manager, you will own the end-to-end revenue growth strategy for the market,collaborating with global and local teams to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities willinclude:

• Overseeing financial performance and budget management for the Canadian market
• Identifying key opportunities to drive revenue growth through channel strategy and
  optimization, marketing, pricing & promotions
• Evaluating & developing key B2B partnerships in collaboration with the Commercial team
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
• Working in close collaboration with the North America marketing team to define the marketing strategy, and then working with global teams (PR, Social, Performance, Brand, Retention) as required to execute campaigns, on time and on budget
• Managing our Canadian PR agency and local PR initiatives to amplify Yoto’s brand presence
• Overseeing activations at industry trade shows, consumer events, and educational conferences
• Working with the global teams to launch new products and campaigns in market
• Coordinating with the Content team to localize and curate audio content for the Canadian market, ensuring cultural relevance and regional appeal
• Collaborating with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient product availability and delivery in Canada
• Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform strategic decisions and growth opportunities
• Leading and developing the Canadian team, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration with North American and global colleagues.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role; experience at a fast-growth startup/scale up is ahuge plus
• Strong understanding of Canadian consumer behavior
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development and marketing strategies in the Canadian market, ideally with experience across marketing, ecommerce and B2B
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterparts
• Excellent financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience building and managing partnerships with brands, retailers, publishers, and content creators
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; bilingual French is a plus
• A passion for audio content and technology
• Ability to think on your feet and learn quickly
• Experience marketing to parents is a plus.

Salary: CA$175,000 - $195,000 based on experience

After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical.
