Perform refractions and prescribe glasses and contact lenses. Operate ophthalmic diagnostic and investigation equipment (training provided). Conduct clinical evaluations of patients. Assist doctors during consultations and clinic operations. Pre-operation and post-operation counseling for patients, including financial counseling. Handle front-counter duties, including registration, dispensing medications, collecting payments, and appointment scheduling. Educate patients about vision care, optical aids, and maintaining eye health. Address patient inquiries and provide exceptional service. Ensure equipment is in good condition and maintain accurate medical records. Perform general administrative duties related to submission and logistics workflows. Requirements Fully Registered (Full-Reg) with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) is preferred. Diploma or Degree in Optometry. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred. Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Passionate, friendly, patient, and cheerful disposition.
