Senior Legal Counsel, APAC- Renewables | Energy My client within the Energy space is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in Singapore to cover Asia Pacific. The Role Negotiate and draft distribution, supply and sales agreements, construction and subcontractor agreements, EPC and O&M agreements, loan and security agreements, interconnection agreements, site leases, and joint venture agreements. Assist with all aspects of project financings (e.g. performing due diligence, forming SPVs, negotiating and drafting project documents, obtaining environmental permitting and other regulatory compliance). Assist with M&A and investment activities. Coordinate and supervise outside counsel. To Qualify Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 20 - 25 years of experience in related field. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong project management and analytical skills. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about renewable energy industry. Strong drafting and negotiating experience. Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.
