Overview

Web Designer – Coach Matching Platform (Freelance) role at Twine . A personal project is seeking a skilled freelance web designer to develop a fully automated coach-matching platform inspired by services like Betterhelp. The platform will connect clients with their ideal coaches through an interactive onboarding questionnaire and an intelligent matching algorithm based on attributes from both sides. The goal is to deliver a user-friendly, scalable solution that automates the client–coach journey from onboarding through booking, payment, and communication. Remote collaboration is supported, with the potential for additional projects after this initial engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a modern, intuitive user interface for clients, coaches, and administrators
  • Build an interactive onboarding questionnaire that informs the client–coach matching process
  • Create coach profile pages including bios, certifications, ratings, and availability
  • Integrate a booking and scheduling system with calendar synchronization
  • Implement multiple payment options, including pay-per-session, packages, and subscriptions
  • Develop an internal messaging feature with optional video session integration
  • Design a comprehensive admin dashboard to manage users, monitor revenue, and oversee operations
  • Incorporate analytics tools to track client satisfaction and coach performance
  • Ensure responsive design and cross-device usability for a seamless user experience
  • Deliver scalable, well-documented design assets suitable for development and future enhancements
Skills and Requirements
  • Proven experience designing large-scale web platforms with complex user flows
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles for interactive platforms
  • Familiarity with booking, scheduling, and payment system integrations
  • Ability to design intuitive dashboards and data visualization components
  • Knowledge of designing for messaging and video communication tools is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with stakeholders
  • Experience designing SaaS, health-tech, or coaching/therapy-related platforms preferred
  • Mid-level expertise with a portfolio demonstrating comparable project work
