Job Summary The Logistics Warehouse Assistant Manager supports daily warehouse operations, ensures efficient inventory flow, supervises warehouse staff, and helps maintain safety and quality standards. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities while driving operational accuracy and productivity.Key Roles & Responsibilities Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance. Ensure timely receiving, sorting, storing, picking, and shipping of goods. Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits. Oversee compliance with safety policies, equipment use, and housekeeping standards. Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and storage capacity. Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to resolve order or stock issues. Train new staff on warehouse procedures, equipment operations, and safety guidelines. Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and processing speed. Support implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and process improvements. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred). 1-2+ years of warehouse or logistics operations experience. 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse processes and WMS software. Ability to lift moderate weights and work in a physical, fast-paced environment. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory systems). Preferred Qualifications Experience with forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment. Certification in forklift operation or warehouse safety. Experience with ERP or advanced WMS platforms. Knowledge of lean principles or warehouse optimization methods.
