Welcome to the Disruption Company. As a Senior Copywriter, you are responsible for work produced on behalf of our clients, as well as any work created for the company, as the need may arise. You are expected to conceptualize, produce and implement disruptive creative that solves clients’ business problems, briefs or goals. You are also expected to maintain the company’s standards of creative excellence and, within reason, profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Ideation + Strategic Acumen: Participate in strategic conversations, bring new ideas/concepts across brands, strive to deliver disruptive ideas, present rationale for selling/recommending creative ideas to Creative Directors and Clients, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, stay up to date with creative/social/digital trends and best practices and incorporate them into campaigns.
- Execution / Production: Lead briefs from conceptualisation to execution, direct multiple aspects of campaigns to align with client and agency creative objectives, deliver work of the highest quality, lead creative productions and QC the work, deliver work suitable for local and international awards, manage time effectively and flag timeline issues early.
- Business Acumen: Understand the industry and client business, learn how it works, understand production costs and feasibility of ideas.
- People Management: Partner with internal and external teams, manage performance and delivery of creative output to standard, build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, coach and mentor junior team members, mentor creatives through production processes.
- Leadership: Demonstrate creative problem solving, show curiosity and courage to build undefined solutions, positively influence and build your own brand.
- Knowledge required: 5 - 8 years of experience as a creative, awareness of latest industry innovations, trends and developments, proven track record and drive to continue succeeding.
- Skills required: Commercial and creative mindset, excellent relationship management, ability to sell and push creative standards and delivery, results oriented in business and creative output.
