Direct message the job poster from Samsung Re Overview Main Responsibilities include but not limited to following: Responsibilities Treaty Technical Accounting (both Inwards and Outwards) Ensure that all Treaty Statement of Accounts from Brokers/Cedants are furnished and booked on a timely and accurate basis for monthly closing Prop Treaty: Prepare and process proportional SOAs for Inwards and Outwards (Retrocession), estimates premiums, profit commission, sliding scale commission, cash calls and cash calls refund. Maintaining Outstanding Loss Reserves. Non-Prop Treaty: Calculate and process deposit premiums, adjustment premiums, estimates premium and reinstatement premiums. Credit Control Maintain effective Credit Control practices and procedures Premium & Claims collection and payments from/to broker and cedent Follow up on outstanding premiums and discrepancies with brokers/cedent. Prepare weekly payments for approval Allocate receipts/payments in system for settled balances Other Duties including Attend to Internal/External Auditors queries Coordinate with underwriters on policy terms Coordinate with claims handers on claim payables Any other projects/duties assigned Requirements Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent Minimum 5 years Treaty accounts experiences in the reinsurance industry Good knowledge of Treaty Technical Accounting, familiar with Reinsurance regulatory reporting framework Meticulous, organized and able to prioritize work Good communication and problem-solving skills Able to work under tight timelines and pressure Be independent with minimum supervision Approachable and a good team player Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Insurance We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
