About Our ClientOur client is an established SGX mainboard listed company and they are now looking for a competent and committed individua to join their team.Tax Manager Position OverviewThe Tax Manager will oversee the full spectrum of corporate tax compliance and advisory functions for the Group's entities in Singapore and overseas. The incumbent will ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, manage tax risks, optimise tax efficiency, and support management in strategic tax planning and transactions. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Singapore tax laws, familiarity with international tax regimes, and experience liaising with tax authorities and external auditors.Key Responsibilities1. Tax Compliance and Reporting Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of all corporate income tax, GST, and withholding tax returns for the Group. Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and disclosures in compliance with IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). Coordinate tax-related matters with external tax agents, auditors, and regulators (e.g., IRAS, ACRA, MAS). Maintain proper documentation and support for tax filings and audits. 2. Tax Planning and Advisory Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for business operations, mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. Provide tax advisory support for group restructuring, financing arrangements, and intercompany transactions. Evaluate tax implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and investments. Monitor and analyse tax developments in Singapore and other jurisdictions that may affect the Group. 3.
