Job Description Key Responsibilities: 1. Regional Accounting Operations Manage daily accounting activities for APAC entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and comply with group accounting policies and local regulations. Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlement processes across the region. 2. Month-End Closing & Reporting Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities for APAC entities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses. Support management reporting, and regional financial reviews. 3. Financial & Data Analysis Conduct country-level profitability, cost, and variance analyses. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across APAC. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Serve as a business partner to the Sales & Marketing function, providing comprehensive support for APAC regional expense input–output analysis and dynamic performance evaluation. 4. Tax & Audit Compliance Coordinate with tax agents and auditors across APAC to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements. Prepare and submit GST/VAT, corporate tax filings, and other statutory submissions. Support annual audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed. 6. Systems & Process Improvement Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives. Qualifications Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment. Minimum 3 years of practical SAP experience required. Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) preferred. Experience in managing accounting operations for multiple APAC countries is an advantage. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle cross-border responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
