  • The Sr. Specialist, Communications plays a crucial role in crafting various types of content to engage internal and external audiences across Giant Eagle's global presence. Your responsibilities will involve generating news articles, emails, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, video scripts, and more while supporting business initiatives through strategic communications.You should possess 3 to 7 years of experience in communications, preferably within a corporate setting supporting a retail brand. A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field would be highly desirable.Your key responsibilities will include:- Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner across different channels and target audiences.- Collaborating with business unit leaders to identify compelling stories and create tailored content to enhance business objectives.- Developing and implementing operational, strategic, and inspirational communications for both internal and external audiences, which may involve coordinating video and photography projects.- Assisting in organizing and facilitating Executive Leadership Meetings, Town Hall meetings, and webcasts.- Understanding channel strategies and leveraging them effectively based on content, audience, and desired outcomes.- Supporting the formulation and implementation of communication plans and strategies under the guidance of senior managers.- Demonstrating a proactive approach to project management and engaging with internal stakeholders effectively.- Showcasing creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills in all tasks undertaken.- Providing assistance to the Corporate Affairs department as necessary.At Giant Eagle Inc., we value our diverse and talented team members who are the cornerstone of our organization.
