Overview

Responsibilities include repair and calibration of electronic measuring instruments (Tektronix/Keithley/EA), analyzing and identifying instrument failures, performing repair/calibration/adjustment processes, and delivering instruments to customers on time with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repair and calibration of electronic measuring instruments (Tektronix/Keithley/EA), by analyzing and identifying instrument failures, performing repair/ calibration/adjustment process. Ensure on time deliver the instruments to customers of high quality.
• Maintain high-quality and efficient communication with customers, fully understand customer needs, provide customers with high quality products and services, and continue to improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage equipment/fixture/tool management through using Tektrace /MET TEAM or offline management software, initiate calibration and repair requirements, propose analysis and solutions for Out of Tolerance (OOT) equipment, and ensure the equipment in effective working condition.
• Collaborate with CSR/SAM/Logistic departments to ensure instruments are delivered to customers in the best quality and shortest Turn Around Time (TAT).
• Operate ERP and workbench systems, initiate and establish parts needs information, and manage the service location according to repair requirements.
• Analyze and improve the quality of repair/calibration processes, prevent quality problems, provide instrument application and maintenance advisories through cooperation with Global and Regional quality and engineering teams to reduce quality PPM and service instrument failure rates.
• Use RBS tools to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity to meet customer expectations.
• Demonstrate strong initiative, continuously learn product knowledge and skills, understand latest product and service needs, and provide training to raise service capability for self and team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electronic engineering or a similar major and more than 2 years’ relevant work experience.
• Hands-on repair and calibration of typical electronic measuring instruments, such as power supplies, digital multimeters, source meters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to understand and predict customer needs is preferred.
• Integrity, sincerity, good teamwork ability.
• Strong willingness to learn and fast learning ability, able to actively and continuously learn and improve professional skills and communication skills.
• Preference for knowledge of lean concepts.
• Ability to understand and analyze electrical/electronic diagrams, ability to repair instruments at the board and component level.
