As a member of the Principal Engineer/MTS team in reliability, you should have basic reliability knowledge and an understanding of reliability failure mechanisms, preferably in gate oxide and/or back-end-of-line (BEOL) reliability. Semiconductor process and/or device physics knowledge is a plus. Your responsibilities include collaborating with fab and technology development teams, performing reliability test structure design, reliability testing and analysis, risk assessments, and proposing design rules.

1. Provide technical support on qualifications & reliability improvements, including qualification plan definition, test condition determination, hardware & software design for special test requests, test results analysis, and providing recommendations for competitiveness & improvement.
2. Execute benchmarking exercises on reliability testing methodology, process qualification criteria & reliability design rules.
3. Design reliability test structures, perform qualification, and assess reliability for mechanisms such as Gox TDDB, PID, BEOL EM, SM, BEOL TDDB.
4. Design test structures, characterize, and propose Gox PID and/or EM design rules.
5. Build models for EM, BEOL TDDB failure mechanisms and support IC designers' reliability risk assessment using these models.
6. Establish reliability test requirements for new or advanced technology.
7. Participate in the new technology core team to embed reliability into the device/process.
8. Improve reliability test cycle time & accuracy through refinement of test structures and methodologies.
9. Provide technical support to customers on reliability considerations in final products.
10. Assess reliability risks associated with process changes, fab excursions, and field failures.
11. Own the definition, documentation, and maintenance of test procedures, findings, tools, and train reliability staff.

Perform all activities safely, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

• Bachelor's/master's degree in Electronics, Materials, Physics or PhD.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor reliability.

• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight project timelines.
• Knowledge of Minitab, JMP, FMEA, 8D is advantageous.
