Main Purpose of the Job: Function as the project assistant and project quantity surveyor, working with Directors & Associate Directors to deliver professional pre‑ and post‑quantity surveyor services across a strong portfolio of projects including Commercial/Retail, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Data Centre, Corporate Real Estate, Industrial/Manufacturing, Institutions, Civil Infrastructure, and more. Key Responsibilities Support the Associate Director / Director in cost management of projects. Collaborate with other Quantity Surveyors to manage issues on multidisciplinary projects and liaise with stakeholders on requirements. Represent the company professionally, negotiating and corresponding with clients to build strong partnerships. Contribute to setting team objectives and priorities as a proactive team player. Ensure effective communication to deliver cost‑effective projects, liaising with managers for efficient financial control. Maintain consistency of service delivery and identify opportunities to improve quality and profitability. Understand client requirements and conduct feasibility studies. Prepare pre‑contract cost estimates, cost plans, budgetary studies and project cash flows using CostX, Cubicost or similar. Take off quantities for all structural and architectural elements. Prepare tender and contract documentation. Manage tendering process and evaluate tenders. Provide cost information and value engineering analysis. Administer post‑contract duties: contract documentation, valuation of progress payments, variation assessment, and cost control, including cashflow reporting. Finalize project accounts. Attend project meetings. Collaborate and communicate effectively to contribute to team and project performance. Carry out other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, Infrastructure Project Management or similar. Minimum 2‑3 years’ QS consultancy experience. Previous industry experience or internships is an advantage. Strong technical knowledge in measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts, and law. Familiarity with professional practice and contract administration processes. Excellent team player capable of multitasking on multiple projects. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Proficiency with digital cost estimating software (e.g., CostX, CubiCost). Analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making approach. Experienced in post‑contract management: payment valuation, variation assessment, etc. Familiar with public sector projects (preferred) and/or private sector projects.
