Join to apply for the Desktop Engineer role at RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD 5 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Role/Level: Desktop Engineer Salary Range (Monthly): SGD $2,500 – $2,850 Assignment Duration: 1 Year Nationality: Singaporean Only Security Clearance: Yes, Category 2A (Security Clearance & Background Check required before onboarding) Job Overview The Desktop Engineer will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client platforms and end‑user systems. This includes ensuring operational reliability, performing installations and upgrades, and providing technical support in line with agreed service levels. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Construct, test, install, and manage client platforms to meet business needs and service level requirements. Perform troubleshooting for client platform–related incidents and ensure timely resolution. Provide prompt response to incidents, investigate root causes, and deliver temporary or permanent fixes. Handle service requests related to client platforms efficiently. Monitor system performance, document configurations, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. Participate in and support client platform implementation or upgrade projects. Conduct research and evaluation on client platform tools and technologies. Provide systems‑related technical advice to customers and project teams. Manage client platform management systems and implement changes through the official change request process. Support presales activities by assisting in technical discussions and infrastructure requirement analysis. Ensure compliance with service levels and propose corrective actions when needed. Establish and promote facility management standards and best practices to maintain consistency across projects.
