We seek a postdoctoral research fellow to join us in our discovery of molecular drivers of Metabolic-Dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease.
In this position, you are required to be:
- Proficient in working with liver stem cell lines and primary cell cultures, including genetic manipulation in culture systems.
- Familiar with mouse models, particularly related to liver biology.
- Analyse and integrate multi-omics datasets.
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of research projects.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data using appropriate statistical methods and software.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant research findings.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop research protocols and methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of research activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
- Assist in the preparation of research publications, including manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout the research process.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, psychology, social sciences, etc.).
- Experience in data collection, management, and analysis using software such as SPSS, R, or Python.
- Proficient in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing research findings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present research findings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
