Director P&B Regulatory Affairs Asia Pacific

Join us as the Director P&B Regulatory Affairs Asia Pacific at dsm-firmenich in Singapore. This role involves leading a regional team of regulatory experts to ensure compliance of our Perfumery & Beauty (P&B) portfolio, supporting business growth, and staying updated with industry regulations. You will develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, provide regulatory guidance, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing APAC regulatory activities and maintaining customer relationships to grow the P&B division.
  • Preparing documentation and handling inquiries related to product safety and regulations.
  • Supporting commercial teams with regulatory and safety compliance for fragrance development.
  • Maintaining tracking systems for regulatory activities and supporting digitalization efforts.
  • Staying updated with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with global RA teams on internal systems and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Science.
  • Minimum 3 years’ regulatory experience in the Perfumery, Beauty, or Cosmetic industry.
  • Experience with authorities and network in relevant industries.
  • Knowledge of ingredient and product registration, claims, and multilingual capabilities (e.g., Chinese, Malay, Korean) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with digitalization and data analytics are advantageous.
