Global Markets Business Analyst - AVP Why Join As a Global Markets Business Analyst at OCBC, you'll play a key role in driving business growth and improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop data‑driven solutions to drive business outcomes. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need: To support Treasury Operations department by providing cost effective solutions in the operations digitalization and transformation journey. Stay informed about the emerging trends in Global markets space, new and evolving technologies, sustainability initiatives to contribute to the success and relevance of the solutions in the rapidly changing business landscape. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. What you do Elicit requirements, understand the scope, appreciation of operations processes and design blueprint of how the technology and systems should work together to ensure the final solution meets the needs of the business. Collaborate with various departments across the bank such as Engineeringdent, Tech Architecture, Infra, Security etc. to come up with end‑to‑end solution design, scope of work and cost estimates. Present solution proposals, cost benefit analysis and provide Richtung recommendations to both business and technology management teams on the solution/ options. Perform project activities from requirement analysis, functional specifications, user stories, testing and go‑live in both SDLC & Agile/SCRUM delivery approaches. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business metrics. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that drive business outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop analytics solutions that meet business needs. Who you are A degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science. At least 3 years of experience in business analytics or a related field. Good knowledge/understanding of Treasury Products (FX, Money Market, Derivatives and Structured Investments). Good understanding of Treasury Dear‑office processes. Hands on Murex experience will be an added advantage. Experience in writing functional specifications and preparing other documentations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
