We are looking for a seasoned System Architect/Tech Lead to steer architecture, design, and development efforts for a public sector project.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end system architecture: ensure designs & dev work follow Enterprise Architecture.
  • Turn business needs (including uptime, fault tolerance etc.) into clear architectural specs.
  • Suggest tools, platforms & technologies that align with standards.
  • Build, maintain, and govern architecture blueprints for business, data, and ICT assets.
  • Review code & technical solutions during the software dev lifecycle; help with performance, scalability & design issues.
  • Mentor teams & work closely with stakeholders to ensure ideas are understood & implemented.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in IT / related field.
  • Proven track record as a Tech Lead or System Architect: system design, prototyping, performance tuning, maintaining systems.
  • Hands-on experience through full project lifecycles.
  • Strong skills in .NET and/or Java/J2EE, solid SQL knowledge & data modelling.
  • Comfortable with server-side dev, web services, SOA / microservices, public digital/e-services.
  • Excellent communication: must be able to influence, explain, and lead.

Experience working in or with government/public sector is a big plus factor.

This is a contract role based in Singapore.
