What will you do as a Maintenance Engineer?

• Interface with and develop the 3-Year Maintenance Plan and Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Plan and execute sustaining and service / growth Capex; ensure maintenance optimization and continuous improvement; troubleshoot technical problems, equipment and system failures; conduct RCFA and develop improvement plans as needed.

What do we expect from you as a Maintenance Engineer?

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in related field
• Exposure & experience in industrial standards (API, ASME and equivalent)
• Familiarity with API 653 and/or 570 is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of products and equipment in terminal
• Project & maintenance experience
• Strong data analysis acumen and ability to transform findings into opportunities for improvement
• Good knowledge of maintenance, operations, safety and product knowledge
• Knowledge of safety, health and environment regulations and practices

Your Core Responsibilities

• Develop the 3-year maintenance plan in consultation with the Maintenance Manager, Planner Maintenance and Supervisor Maintenance
• Identify whether assets require preventive maintenance based on risk assessments, regulatory requirements, Vopak standards and maintenance history
• Determine and adjust preventive maintenance for assets, including type, frequency and any adjustments per instructions, legislation, and warranty status
• Determine frequency of preventive maintenance work orders
• Define default activities, standard procedures and required tools for PM work orders and coordinate with the Planner on the scope
• Add cost estimates to the PM schedule
• Identify information required in inspection reports
• Manage terminal asset lifecycle
• Identify Capex required based on business or sustainability needs
• Study and develop scope of work and cost estimates; perform tenders for Capex projects
• Execute Capex projects in line with Vopak standards (MOC, VPM) and support asset data management
• Carry out inspections to evaluate engineering works and integrity of installations; recommend remedial work as needed
• Analyze inspection reports and propose recommendations and action items
• Propose improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Perform maintenance analysis and basic quality sampling/inspection of assets or processes
• Support and guide technicians on complex issues; determine root cause of equipment and system failures and recommend corrective measures
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; act as primary contact within contract management
• Facilitate internal and external audits
• Lead or support corporate initiatives or pilot rollouts
• Training of Maintenance and Operations technicians
