Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end partnership development and execution with global and regional card schemes, driving compliant and mutually beneficial collaboration models that align with business goals.
• Design and optimize commercial models, including incentive structures, cost-sharing mechanisms, and contract terms to support scalable launches of digital wallet integrations and card-rail-based payments.
• Monitor and interpret evolving industry trends across the global digital wallet and scheme payment landscape, providing strategic insights for new market entries and operational improvements.
• Partner with cross-border payment teams and internal stakeholders to evaluate business readiness, regulatory, and technical compatibility for large-scale rollouts in APAC, with a focus on market diversity and ecosystem compatibility (e.g., push/pull infrastructure, FX, pricing).
• Serve as the subject-matter expert in the development and iteration of internal operational rules and partner onboarding frameworks, drawing from real-world rollout experience in all established and emerging markets.
• Support investment and acquisition initiatives that enhance infrastructure access and market penetration for global payment products.

• 5+ years of experience in payment partnerships or more, including direct ownership of card scheme collaboration and global digital wallet integration.
• Proven ability to manage complex negotiations with external partners and execute high-impact agreements from 0 to 1.
• Hands-on experience in defining operational policies and building rulebooks for large-scale payment ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory considerations, incentive alignment, and go-to-market readiness across APAC, EMEA, and North America.
• Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive; equally comfortable operating at the strategic and tactical levels.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of aligning diverse global teams and partners toward a common execution plan.
• Master’s degree in Finance or a related field from a top global institution is preferred.
