Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Upstream Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in upstream process development and manufacturing, with expertise in cell culture, fermentation, and bioreactor operations. You will play a key role in optimizing upstream processes, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Assisting with commissioning and qualification of upstream equipment such as bioreactors, media prep systems, and related utilities. Supporting development and review of process documentation, including SOPs, protocols, and batch records. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams including process engineering, validation, automation, and QA. Participating in tech transfer, process readiness, or troubleshooting activities as needed. Providing on‑the‑floor support for upstream operations and process execution. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field. 4 to 8 years of experience in upstream process development or manufacturing. Hands‑on expertise in bioreactor operations, process scale‑up, and cell culture techniques. Strong understanding of GMP regulations and industry best practices. Experience with process analytical technology (PAT) and data‑driven process optimization. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
