FACULTY OPENINGS AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore's first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals. Its mission is to maximise the potential of learners and innovate with industry through an integrated applied learning and research approach, contributing to the economy and society.
The university's pedagogy integrates work and study, embracing authentic learning in real-world environments through collaborations with key strategic partners. Its focus on applied research with business impact aims to help industry innovate and grow. Targeted to be ready in 2024, SIT's centralised campus within the Punggol Digital District will feature a vibrant learning environment where academia and industry are tightly integrated with the community. SIT emphasizes an applied learning approach and offers degrees with a strong focus on science and technology. Faculty work closely with industry on translational research, innovation, and consultancy to address industry challenges. This industry nexus provides graduates with deep skills and work-ready training, aligning them with future economic needs.

Positions are available at all levels, from Lecturer to Full Professor, in the following areas:
- Digital Communications & Integrated Media : Digital Web Analytics, Integrated Media Management, Digital Media Production
- Hospitality Business : Digital/Interactive Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Technology
Successful candidates will join the Business, Communication and Design (BCD) Cluster (one of five academic clusters at SIT) as part of a team passionate about higher education and industry transformation through applied research.
Faculty in the BCD Cluster undertake funded, industry-relevant research, teach courses in Accounting, Aviation Management, Communication Management, and Hospitality Business , and supervise industry master's and doctoral students. They are also supported with paid leave for consultancy work and industry attachments.
We prioritize collegial, team-oriented candidates with either (a) a Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputable university in relevant areas with some work experience, or (b) extensive industry experience with strong technical expertise in the relevant areas.
