We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions in a dynamic banking environment. The role involves shaping technical strategies, guiding project implementations, and ensuring alignment with organizational IT standards while supporting innovative technology adoption. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of technical solution designs that align with project goals and organizational IT strategies. Collaborate with enterprise architects, technology SMEs, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements. Serve as a liaison between enterprise architecture teams and project delivery teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the solution lifecycle. Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and platforms to recommend improvements and drive innovation. Mentor and guide development teams and technical leads in following architecture best practices and design standards. Maintain and review technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of solution designs. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to present, review, and gain approval for technical solutions. Provide leadership to a team of solution architects, fostering professional growth, quality delivery, and adherence to timelines. Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, security, and scalability. Stay informed of evolving technology trends, platforms, and industry best practices to continuously enhance solution approaches. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in the financial sector , with at least 10 years in solution design or architecture roles. Solid understanding of banking systems and project implementation lifecycles. Experience leading and developing teams of solution architects. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-wide solutions, including integration across channels, systems, middleware, and data platforms. Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and cloud solutions. Knowledge of application modernization strategies and migration tools. Familiarity with core banking technologies, applications, and industry trends. Technical Expertise Modern engineering practices: DevOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and enterprise integration patterns. Data platforms (Oracle, MS-SQL) and data architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Lake). Middleware technologies: IBM MQ, IWA, MFT. Container orchestration (RedHat OpenShift) and application monitoring tools (IBM Instana). Enterprise networking: WAN, LAN, SD‑WAN, cloud networking, and network security. Hands‑on knowledge in at least two of the following domains: Payments, Cash Management, Customer Touchpoints (Internet/Mobile), Customer Onboarding & AML, Digital Workflow, Data Warehouse & Analytics. Certifications and Skills TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification and cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable. Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with a problem‑solving orientation and attention to detail.
