Job Description

  • Manage major baggage handling machines and equipment delivery, receiving, and inventory controls.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports analyzing expenditure on materials for the Project Director and/or Project Manager.
  • Implement and monitor spare parts management processes and procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and optimal space management within the warehouse and project site.
  • Develop and implement procedural improvements, including safety measures, within the warehouse and project site.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, QA/QC, and HSE regulations.
  • Manage the upkeep and movement of company vehicles.
  • Ensure records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of warehouse items to reconcile with CMMS data.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management or warehouse management.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices.
  • Class 3 driving license is beneficial.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to develop a team.
  • At least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a warehouse or store setting.
