The Global Trade sectorial coverage team for Energy & Power, Critical Metals & Mobility and Food & Agriculture, has developed a longstanding franchise and global commitment to corporates, producers, commodities trading and distribution players.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned professionals and proactively support the team with trade and working capital solutions on deal origination and execution as well as client engagements across the sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Relationship Managers in origination, credit reviews and execution of transactions
  • Analysis of credit risks and sectors
  • Present and justify these recommendations at credit committees
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and the client for KYC and new client onboarding process
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on facility documentation

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Banking & Finance or Accountancy or related disciplines
  • Some relevant experience in credit analysis or internship in a Corporate or Trade Finance role will be an advantage
  • Possess good analytical skills
  • Good written and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Dedicated, self-driven, ability to multi-task and must be able to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with English/Chinese speaking clients
