Security and Monitoring Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a Monitoring Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our data center infrastructure. This position requires expertise in monitoring systems, key stakeholder and customer engagement and ideally with a strong background in data centers, security or monitoring. With a supportive team and management structure the successful candidate will have the opportunity to flourish in the role, and provide crucial support to our data centers across APAC.
Responsibilities- System Monitoring: 24x7x365 monitoring of our Data Center infrastructure and security alarms, including monitoring essential systems and network elements, and providing timely response to access and CCTV related alarms.
- Documentation & Processing: Input of access information into the access control system; process inbound access requests from customers, carriers, and sites; dispatch service requests, trouble, and alarm tickets.
- Technical Expertise: Build familiarity with BMS systems, security access control systems, and basic data center infrastructure; develop knowledge of security and Data Center Facility Operations best practices.
- Systems Support & Maintenance: Process inbound alerts from essential systems and network elements with timely response; handle site maintenance and outage notifications.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve or report detected problems; escalate trouble cases and emergencies as needed to lead and/or management personnel.
- Training: Complete all assigned training in a timely manner to stay up-to-date with industry practices and technologies, including compliance and regulatory aspects across the region.
- Project Management: Support the fulfillment of projects with direction from Management and assist with successful completion.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with basic QA tasks and escalate trouble cases to lead and/or management as needed.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment but have the confidence to triage incidents accordingly through sound judgement
