General Manager, B2B Enterprise Sales (Healthcare) Title: General Manager, B2B Enterprise Sales (Healthcare) About the Role Our client is a biotechnology lab services startup dedicated to future proofing the nation’s healthcare capabilities. They are looking to hire a highly driven General Manager of Sales, who will be responsible for building and expanding the commercial team to drive customer acquisition, and strategically positioning the organization as a trusted partner for integrated laboratory solutions to both public as well as private sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed annual revenue and profitability goals. Proactively identify, assess, and penetrate untapped or new markets, developing new revenue streams through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and early customer acquisition. Build market entry strategies based on customer needs, regulatory landscapes, and competitive positioning. Design and deliver creative, consultative sales pitches tailored to B2B enterprise clients, articulating complex technical or scientific offerings in clear commercial terms. Translate client pain points into differentiated value propositions and customized solutions. Identify and secure strategic partnerships across the ecosystem (not limiting to research institutions, biotech companies, service providers, government or regulatory-linked entities). Structure mutually beneficial collaborations that accelerate market access, enhance service offerings, and strengthen long-term positioning. Lead the entire sales cycle for major accounts, from initial opportunity identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, technical, regulatory, leadership) to refine go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and partnership frameworks aligned with business objectives and scalability. Requirements Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior or general management capacity overseeing revenue growth and market expansion. Extensive experience selling complex, high-value, or regulated solutions to enterprise clients. Ability to conduct consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, long decision timelines, and tailored commercial proposals. Comfortable operating in a startup or high‑growth environment, with a willingness to be hands‑on in early‑stage market development while building structures for scale. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications in business, science, engineering, or life sciences would be advantageous. Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C‑suite executives, institutional partners, and senior government or regulatory stakeholders.
