We are seeking an experienced and proactive SAP BASIS HANA Administrator to manage and support the SAP landscape with a focus on HANA systems. This role involves the installation, upgrade, and performance tuning of SAP environments and requires coordination across diverse SAP technical teams.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration and HANA support, with a strong understanding of system integrations and implementations across various SAP modules.

What You'll Do

  • Perform installation, upgrade, and configuration of SAP systems, including ECC, GTS, SCM, BI, PI, and Solution Manager.
  • Provide hands-on support for SAP HANA installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Participate actively in impact assessments of SAP application changes introduced through ongoing projects.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, conduct performance tuning, and maintain system health across SAP landscapes.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers, performance teams, and production support teams to manage system-related requests and incidents.
  • Support implementation projects by contributing BASIS expertise and ensuring seamless deployment and environment setup.
  • Operate independently, managing day-to-day administrative tasks and system maintenance with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices related to system administration, backups, monitoring, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in SAP BASIS administration.
  • Proven BASIS administration expertise in SAP systems including ECC, GTS, SCM, BI, PI, and Solution Manager.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and UNIX operating environments.
  • Experience in SAP implementation projects and end-to-end technical support.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and operate independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
