Clinical Application Specialist

Canon Medical Systems Asia is a subsidiary of Canon Medical Systems Corporation, a global medical technology company that develops and produces diagnostic imaging systems, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and healthcare IT solutions. Canon Medical Systems Asia is headquartered in Singapore and serves customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The incumbent will be part of the Imaging and Healthcare Solutions Division, reporting to the CT Department Manager.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive support across both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring seamless customer engagement from initial consultation through to application support and ongoing service.
- Deliver professional and competent demonstrations of specialty applications to external customers.
- Drive customer engagement and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management, virtual and phone support, user training, educational programs (via Educenter), and on-site applications when required.
- Act as the product expert for CT applications, proactively maintaining expertise in Canon's CT portfolio and staying abreast of current market trends.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all communications and interactions with prospects, customers, and internal teams.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences through product demonstrations and customer interactions.
- Obtain high-quality commercial images that highlight Canon's technology, address competitive comparisons, and demonstrate clinical advantages.
- Collect and maintain DICOM data from collaboration sites to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction as measured through surveys and direct feedback.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to peers, supporting their development into qualified trainers capable of confidently delivering product demonstrations, building product knowledge, and managing customer interactions.
- Manage complex travel schedules (with flexibility of up to 50% travel) to maximize the efficient use of company resources.
- Contribute to process improvements by understanding operational methods and business processes, and by proactively planning and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, company leadership, and key stakeholders to align objectives.
- Support clinical collaborations with key opinion leaders.
- A recognized Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in Computed Tomography (CT) within a hospital or clinical setting, with strong application knowledge.
- Solid understanding of imaging workflows, CT protocols, and clinical practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and customers.
- Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities in both independent and team environments.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel locally and regionally (up to 50%) as required.
- Prior experience working with Canon Medical CT systems and applications.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and product demonstrations to large groups in professional settings such as conferences, workshops, or customer training sessions.
