Human by nature.As the Global Fragrance Director, you aim at protecting, growing, and future-proofing the sales and profitability of the respective category via strong internal and client networks, a clear strategic category vision, and inspirational team leadership. If you are passionate about consumer product fragrances, strategically agile, a global team player, and adept at delivering customer sales targets and securing new wins, then this role will allow you to make an impactIn this exciting role, you will report to the Global Business Development Director and play a key role in defining and implementing a strategy to protect, grow, and future-proof the business for a key global account. This includes identifying and prioritizing key opportunities and risks to the business and delivering executable plans to address them. You will maintain and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at your customer and position Givaudan as the go-to partner of choice. Additionally, you will lead, coach, inspire, and motivate both direct and indirect reports in the global commercial, development, and support teams. Your role will also involve negotiating strong commercial deals to enable Givaudan to grow market share within the category, developing, reviewing, and monitoring strategic Account and Category Plans, sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, and following KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate) and taking corrective actions if necessary.Your professional profile should include a graduate or higher degree with a high level of agility, strong FMCG business knowledge, ideally 8-10 years of experience in the fragrance industry and at least 5 years of sales experience, verbal and written command of English, competence in olfactive skills and fluency in fragrance language, ability to energize and lead a cross-functional team around a project, ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with customers, decision-makers, and influencers, understanding and communicating customer requirements, competent negotiation skills, competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations, consistent track record of new wins, business growth, and the ability to identify and create new business opportunities, business fundamentals, understanding of brands, market & consumer dynamics, knowledge of CMR testing protocols and procedures, and understanding of operations and logistics.You must be highly proactive, able to manage cross-functional teams remotely, possess strong communication skills, manage ambiguity and be comfortable with complexity, have a growth mindset and innovative thinking, ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships, and courage.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
