Overview My client is a reputable global hedge fund currently seeking a Senior Fund Operations professional to join its expanding team in Singapore. The role will be responsible for overseeing fund settlement and reconciliation processes. This is a valuable opportunity to be part of the firm as it continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the market. Responsibilities Handle daily operations for multiple funds, including processing investor subscriptions and redemptions, managing account openings and exchange memberships, and ensuring timely payments and documentation. Oversee US equities trade settlement, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation among portfolio managers, prime brokers, and internal systems. Review Net Asset Value (NAV) reports prepared by fund administrators, and support annual fund audits and regulatory declarations. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners such as brokers, fund administrators, and service providers, serving as the primary contact for both external queries and internal stakeholders. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. At least 3 years of experience in fund operations or a related function within asset management or hedge funds. Hands-on experience with US equity settlement and reconciliation, with familiarity in DTCC processes, brokers, and post-trade workflows. Solid understanding of financial markets and strong knowledge of financial statements. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise collaboration tools.
